The OberA Story

Air pollution kills almost 50,000 people a year in France. We are generally aware of this pollution in cities, especially fine-particle pollution. On the other hand, we don’t always know what level of pollution we’re exposed to in the workplace, and yet, indoors, exposure to pollution is 10 to 50 times higher than outdoors!

Pollutants can be found in gaseous form (VOCs, odors, vapors, etc.) or in particulate form (dust, aerosols, viruses, etc.). They come from :

  • Manufacturing processes (vapors, fumes, oil mist)
  • Handling and conveying of goods or raw materials
  • Products used in production.

Exposure to pollutants generates health problems, and can cause illness in exposed employees. What’s more, poor air quality has repercussions on scrap rates, customer complaints, productivity and the frequency of production tool maintenance.

To deal with these pollutants, we generally turn to capture, dedusting and filtration solutions. Yet these solutions are rarely enough to completely solve air quality problems, especially when the pollution is diffuse. What’s more, manufacturers of dedusting and filtration equipment rarely commit to ambient residual pollution levels or to compliance with VLEP regulations.

OberA brings an innovative and unique approach to ensuring healthy air. This approach is the fruit of over 20 years’ experience in dust removal, filtration and air treatment.

Here are the main steps:

  • Diagnosis of potential pollutant sources and measurement of pollution levels (concentration and particle size).
  • Set uptest or rental equipment at no extra cost to validate key technical parameters and guarantee results.
  • Deployment of the source capture and treatment solution (dust removal and filtration), and/or the ambient air treatment solution (air purification).
  • Implementation of real-time air quality monitoring and connected maintenance 4.0 solutions
