Suction and ring sensors
To keep the working environment clean and healthy, and thus protect operators’ health, pollutants must be captured as soon as they are produced, as close to the source of emission as possible, and as efficiently as possible. This takes into account the nature, characteristics and concentration of the pollutant itself. Depending on the customer’s requirements, OberA designs various Pouyès rings and suction sensors to plan.
RING SENSORS
Pouyès rings or ring collectors are highly effective means of capturing the source. They are designed to guarantee optimum suction speed and even airflow, while leaving the space above the work area clear.
how a pouyès ring works
Thanks to the negative pressure created by the fan, volatile pollutants are captured as close as possible to the source of emission, from where they are conveyed through suction slots to the collector connected to the filtration system.
BENEFITS
In addition to protecting the health of operators and their working environment, Pouyès rings enable optimized suction rates and real energy savings. From an ergonomic point of view, Pouyès rings avoid any discomfort for the operator. In its bag-rest configuration, the Pouyès ring can ease the user’s daily tasks. Their design also makes maintenance quick and easy.
What pollutants can I treat with Pouyès rings?
Ring load cells can be used in a variety of industrial sectors, and are particularly recommended for mixing and sampling, bagging, filling, packaging, emptying, grinding and sieving, reactor loading and weighing operations.

What are the features?
Ring sensors can be made to measure in galvanized steel, painted steel, 304L stainless steel and 316L stainless steel. Depending on the application and specific requirements, they are available in industrial or pharmaceutical finishes, in one-piece or knock-down versions.
