EPUR B Ex is a range of 3 ATEX-certified mobile air extraction systems.
Sommaire
How does welding/laser fume extraction work?
Operation is simple: polluted air is drawn in directly via a suction hose connected to the machine, a suction arm, an extraction hood or directly onto a production machine via a network of ducts.
Thepolluted air is captured and treated by the various filter stages.
Thepurified air is then discharged from the bottom of the unit, either directly into the work area or outside, via a network of exhaust ducts.
For which uses?
These suction units are designed to extract welding and soldering fumes, dust, vapors, solvents, gases, odors and all types of gaseous pollutants. The units are on castors and can be used to vacuum fixed or mobile workstations (up to 3 workstations or production machines). Compact and space-saving, they are suitable for all types of industry. ATEX certified, they are designed for use in ATEX22 zones.
The EPUR B Ex range is equipped with saturation filters (to be replaced when saturated), meaning that the dust or fume load is relatively low. For higher pollutant loads and large quantities of dust, regenerable (uncloggable) filter media such as the DUSTOMAT or DUSTMAC…. ranges are preferable.

What are the characteristics of ePUR B Ex?
The ePUR B Ex 1000, 3000 and 5000 are capable of holding up to 3 stages of high-performance filtration. Several configurations are possible, either 2-stage with a 13/14 HEPA filter accompanied by 6 kg of activated carbon. Either in 3 stages with a first filter configurable to your needs, followed by another filter half HEPA 13/14 and half activated carbon (3kg).
For theePUR B Ex 3000, the midrange device in the range, you’ll find a first filter that can be fully configured to your specific needs. The second filter box is a HEPA 13/14 with a filter surface area of 5.6m². Finally, the third filter box is a 6 kg activated carbon cassette. Its maximum flow rate is 260 m3/h (under load). It weighs 65 kg and is 99 cm high (weight without filter).
TheePUR B Ex 5000 stands out for its suction power, with a high flow rate of 2800 m3/h. Filters are just as customizable as on the previous 2 devices. As standard, the unit comes with an E10 pre-filter with a 19m² filtering surface and an H14 HEPA filter with a 20m² filtering surface.
The ePUR B Ex 1000 weighs 58kg for a height of 63cm, and the ePUR B Ex 5000 weighs 240kg for a height of 159cm (weight with filter).
Their operating noise level is relatively low (62db). Stainless steel materials make them robust and reliable. They are also equipped with a control screen for easy parameter setting.

What are the advantages of our electronic welding fume extraction units?
There are many benefits, but first and foremost the protection of employees against the many respiratory and skin diseases they can incur. Another advantage is the protection of production tools, leading to a reduction in breakdowns, and therefore an increase in their service life. Their different filter configurations mean they can be fully adapted to your needs.
Low operating noise allows direct installation in the work area.
The units have been designed using robust materials such as stainless steel, to make them more resistant. Changing filters is quick and easy. Electronically commutated EC fans are used for optimized efficiency and infinite adjustment. The control panel also enables numerous settings, such as remote control and visualization of the unit’s status (clogged, leaking filter, etc…) for optimum ease of use. As required by law, our devices enable you to comply with the Occupational Exposure Limit Values (OELV).

How to choose the right dust collection system?
It’s essential to choose the right dust collector to avoid premature wear and tear that could lead to malfunction.
The ePUR B Ex range is powerful, simple, compact and equipped with saturation filters. The combination of filter stages can be freely and judiciously selected to optimize media life. Make sure, however, that saturation particulate filters are well suited to the quantities of dust and fumes you want to extract. Other devices are available with regenerable filter media.
If you’re doing your own research, be sure to ask about the unit’s filtering capacity, which will depend on your pollutant, particle size, state (solid or gaseous) and concentration. This search will enable you to select the ideal type of filter for your dust collector. Secondly, find out about the unit’s power rating, in other words, its flow rate. The unit’s flow rate will once again depend on the quantity of your pollutant, but also on the surface area of the room to be treated. The larger the space, the greater the flow required.
Next, you’ll need to decide which accessory to equip your machine with: a sheath connected to the production machine, or a suction arm for a workstation.
