Excessive heat reduces employee productivity, endangers their health, and exposes products to quality risks and <strong>production equipment<\/strong> to degraded operation, <a href=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/en\/metallurgy-metalworking\/rafraichisseur-metallurgie\/\">especially motors<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why are more and more facilities turning to evaporative cooling?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Until recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/en\/our-tips\/rafraichissement-air-evaporation-production-automobile\/\">evaporative cooling<\/a> had low recognition in Europe. When the temperature exceeds 39\u00b0C, the heat flux emitted by a production facility can become deadly. The body struggles to cool down. Decreased attention and motor skills appear, increasing the risk of accidents during the use of industrial equipment. The cooling process works as follows: <br\/><br\/>A fan directs air over a honeycomb panel saturated with water, designed to optimize air-water contact. As it passes through the panel, the air provides the thermal energy necessary for the water circulating in the cells to turn into gas. The cooler projects the cooled air into the building, which then exits through the openings.
