And best of all, it&#8217;s still possible in the classroom, as long as the air is clean and sanitary conditions are respected.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image_ecole-covid-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"ventilation covid school\" class=\"wp-image-5610\" width=\"527\" height=\"395\" srcset=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image_ecole-covid-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image_ecole-covid-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image_ecole-covid-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image_ecole-covid-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/image_ecole-covid.jpg 2016w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 527px) 100vw, 527px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Classroom ventilation with OBERA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>Several French regions have decided to finance all or part of the purchase of <a href=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/en\/produits\/purificateurs-air\/covid-19-anti-virus-and-bacteria-air-purifiers\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"5161\">air purifiers<\/a> to help educational establishments equip themselves:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region has voted in a 10 million euro regional investment plan for <a href=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/en\/produits\/purificateurs-air\/\" data-type=\"page\">air purification<\/a> in the region&#8217;s high schools and colleges.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Ile de France region provides funding of up to EUR 10,000 for high schools and local authorities to purchase sanitary equipment such as air purifiers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>With the return of face-to-face classes and the use of canteens and refectories, <strong>air purifiers are needed to treat areas with high concentrations of people<\/strong> and\/or areas with large numbers of students at the same time. Air purification units treat the air in the zones with the equivalent of about four to ten room volume changes per hour.  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This <strong>significantly reduces the number of airborne particles and viruses<\/strong> (-85% on average) and significantly purifies the air in the room.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-horizontal is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-03627597 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/en\/contact\/\">I would like to know more<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aeration of the coronavirus<\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>To <strong>reduce the risk of contagion indoors<\/strong>, however, regular ventilation is essential. However, this is not always possible (when rooms have no windows or when it&#8217;s too cold). In this case, installing an air purifier and<strong>sensors for continuous measurement<\/strong> of air quality parameters may be the solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Air purifiers notwithstanding: you still need to ventilate!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some establishments have also chosen to install <a href=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/produits\/purificateurs-air\/anti-covid-virus-bacteries\/virbox\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"4902\">CO2 sensors<\/a> to continuously measure CO2 concentration and trigger ventilation if the recommended threshold is exceeded.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Sans-titre-20.jpg\" alt=\"Room ventilation through windows\" class=\"wp-image-5607\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Sans-titre-20.jpg 500w, https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Sans-titre-20-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Sans-titre-20-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A fun tool: blue LED: all is well; red LED: you need to ventilate<\/h2>\n\n<p>Several teachers&#8217; unions are calling for the installation of <strong>CO2 sensors<\/strong> to continuously monitor air quality.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Many studies recommend the use of CO2 sensors indoors<\/strong>. In this respect, it would be a good idea to apply them to all classrooms in particular. These measuring instruments sound the alarm when interiors need to be ventilated.
