As the resulting vapors and <strong>mists <\/strong>must not exceed a value set by the legislator (occupational health and safety), here we answer your questions on the subject of<a href=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/conseils\/aspiration-industrielle-solutions-professionnels\/\"> oil mist extraction<\/a>. <strong> <\/strong>and emulsion.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are cutting fluid mists and what are they used for?<\/h3>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/fluides-refrigerants.jpg\" alt=\"refrigerants\" class=\"wp-image-15849\" style=\"width:300px;height:200px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/fluides-refrigerants.jpg 600w, https:\/\/obera.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/fluides-refrigerants-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>When <strong>milling<\/strong>, <strong>turning<\/strong>, <strong>drilling<\/strong>, etc., <strong>full-fat oils<\/strong> or <strong>emulsions (oil + water)<\/strong> are used for <strong>cooling<\/strong> and <strong>lubrication<\/strong>, to minimize tool and workpiece heating generated during machining. This has a number of advantages: reduced friction forces improve material surface quality and extend machining tool life. What&#8217;s more, <strong>the emulsion<\/strong> binds the <strong>dust<\/strong> that forms and removes it from the workpiece along with the <strong>swarf<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are the risks associated with cooling lubricants?<\/h3>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>However, the use of <strong>cutting fluids<\/strong> has one major drawback. Due to high tool speeds, cutting fluid injection pressures and high temperatures, the coolant mixture is distributed in fine particles in the air. These <strong>particles<\/strong> have been shown to be to some extent hazardous to health, and can contribute to occupational illness. So it&#8217;s vital to <strong>vacuum<\/strong> them <strong>up accordingly<\/strong>. The three-stage filtration system ensures efficient filtration of cooling lubricant mist or smoke that forms during the machining process. The filtered cutting fluids can then be fed back into the machine.
