En un filtro de saturaci\u00f3n, el medio (a menudo de fibras sint\u00e9ticas, minerales o de carb\u00f3n activo seg\u00fan la necesidad) <g id=\"gid_3\">retiene las impurezas hasta alcanzar su capacidad m\u00e1xima de retenci\u00f3n<\/g>. Una vez saturado, el filtro se <g id=\"gid_4\">sustituye en su totalidad<\/g>.
