Zariadenie nas\u00e1va tepl\u00fd vzduch, ktor\u00fd potom prech\u00e1dza cez panely nasiaknut\u00e9 vodou. Ako sa voda odparuje, absorbuje cite\u013en\u00e9 teplo zo vzduchu a vytv\u00e1ra pr\u00fad ochladen\u00e9ho vzduchu.
