The axial helical fan at the rear of the unit draws in hot air and passes it through the cooling panels. Hot air vaporizes and cools on contact with water. This phenomenon, known as the ” cooling effect “, reduces the temperature of the intake air by up to 20°C. The cooler, filtered air is then pushed through the unit and circulated around the workspace. It’s essential that the room is well ventilated to allow air to circulate freely, evacuate humidity and bring in new warm air to be filtered by the mobile cooler. In short, the warmer the air, the better the cooling.
