How to Cool a Warehouse?

Cooling a Warehouse: What Solutions?

cooling large premises

Are you looking for an effective way to cool your industrial premises? Have you considered installing an adiabatic air cooler. The blown air is cooled by water evaporation.

Furthermore, compared to an air conditioner, an air cooler allows you to make real savings. Interested? Here’s how to cool a warehouse with this type of device.

Cooling a Warehouse with Fixed Equipment

Is your large industrial premises heating up too quickly? To cool it, the adiabatic coolers from the AD range are perfectly suited. They help ensure the productivity of your employees. At the same time, you keep your products safe from intense heat.

Air is drawn in from outside. It passes through a powerful yet silent fan. When it exits the device, its temperature is reduced by 4 ºC to 12 ºC. You thus regain a perfectly comfortable working environment with a temperature between 20 and 25 ºC. Moreover, given the pressurization of the building, you also evacuate fumes or noxious gases, as well as unpleasant odors.

The AD 25 100 air cooler offers an airflow of over 20,000 m3/h, a high power that can cool a maximum surface area of 250 m2. It features a patented automatic drainage system to facilitate maintenance as much as possible. Silent, the device’s noise level is only 70 dB(A).

The main advantage of this model lies in its diffusion power, as its airflow (28,541 m3/h) allows it to cover an area of up to 400 m2. Its use is recommended in large industrial volumes, agricultural and tertiary buildings, or even event spaces.

Cooling an Industrial Premises with a Mobile Device

If you do not wish to carry out work in your building because you do not own the premises, or you want to implement a solution as quickly as possible, or you wish to maintain great flexibility in your factory, then opt for a mobile adiabatic cooler. The wheeled models from the IC range are perfect for cooling a hangar from 80 to 400 m². With such equipment, you can remotely control and program the desired power and temperature. Here is a quick overview of several available devices.

ic range

IC 12

The IC 12 adiabatic air cooler has a flow rate of 12,000m3/h to cool a maximum surface area of 150 m². Water consumption is 8 to 10 L/h, taking into account the 70 L tank capacity. The castors, 43kg weight and remote control make the unit easy to use and move around.

IC 22

Regarding the IC 22 adiabatic air cooler, its airflow is 22,000 m3/h, allowing it to cool a large premises up to 250 m². Its tank can store 130 L of water, and its water consumption is 10 to 15 L/h. The wheels and its weight of 50 kg make the device maneuverable and very stable.

IC 30

The IC 30 adiabatic air cooler is the largest device in the range. It offers an airflow of 30,000 m3/h, capable of cooling a maximum surface area of 400 m². Its water consumption is 15 to 30 L/h, considering its 200 L tank. Castors and a weight of 110kg make it easy to use and move around.
