Installation of a Dustomat 4 at a major player in the nautical industry, manufacturer of bodywork components for racing.
OberA has installed a Dustomat 4 to extract and treat glass and carbon fibers, as well as resin vapors (styrene) from composite materials used in the manufacture of body components.
Fumes of fibers, resin vapors and other CMR dusts are present when deburring composite materials with orbital sanders and portable routers.
The configuration of this unit has been specially designed for this problem and features 3 stages of filtration. Two stages dedicated to dust treatment, including a high-efficiency HEPA 14 (class H). The third stage consists of activated carbon for VOC treatment.
