NA 2.2 wet dust collector: operation and use
The filtration system used in wet dust collectors is based on the principle of centrifugal force, using water as the filtration medium. In concrete terms, the air loaded with fine particles and dust is captured in the dust collector by the integrated fan. The air is then saturated with water via spray nozzles, which agglomerates the dust and makes it easier to capture. To separate the particles, the air and water rotate at high speed, throwing them against the wall of the dust collector (vortex principle). Clean air is extracted and released into the atmosphere by the centrifugal exhaust fan.
Ideal for sawing, cutting and slicing, but also for grinding, polishing, chip removal, milling, decanting, filling and mixing. ATEX version available as an option.
For what uses? The NA 2.2 wet dust collector performs particularly well in the extraction of sticky substances and in operations involving strong sparks. Ideal for extracting metal dust, sticky dust and combustible dust. This makes it ideal for the food processing and metalworking industries.
NA 2.2 wet dust collector features
In addition to its high mobility, its design also boasts a feature never before seen in NA devices: its compact, space-saving design. Until now, water separators could only be stationary, with a larger footprint (much larger dimensions) to cover a wide range of applications. From now on, NA dust collectors have succeeded in combining performance and ease of use with flexible, compact mobile units. In addition, NA equipment always features a tilting top for easy access to the interior.
The NA series also emits very little noise: 68 dB(A). This means it can be used directly at workstations without disturbing operators.
Options: the NA 2.2 wet dust collector is also available as a cleaning vacuum with a 50 mm hose diameter. It is available in a stainless steel version to meet the requirements of the food industry, which generates fine and organic dust and is subject to strict hygiene and food safety regulations. Another essential option for industries operating in potentially explosive areas (Zone 22): the ATEX version, for safe extraction of dry, combustible and non-conductive dusts.
