Mobile and stationary industrial air coolers

Every summer we suffer more than 50 days of extreme temperatures that affect our bodies and productivity. Air conditioning is no longer the solution.

  • The energy cost of air conditioning has become too high: +250% in 3 years
  • 200,000 industrial buildings in France cannot be fitted with air-conditioning because of their age or because of the activity involved.

Choose the innovative, patented OberA solution!

  • Filtration included: purifies AND refreshes
  • Ideal for use in all industrial sectors, including very dusty environments

Why choose our OberA air coolers?

  • An ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMICAL cooling solution
  • Technological innovation based on a natural, historic principle: water evaporation
  • 15x lower running costs than air conditioning
  • A complete range to meet all your needs and constraints
  • A very low carbon footprint (no refrigerant) and no release of warm air (no “heat island” effect)
  • A range of quality products made in France
  • A practical, adaptable and mobile “plug and play” solution

Discover our mobile evaporative air coolers: IC range

Our IC evaporative air coolers come with a remote control for remote operation. Thanks to their castors, they can be moved easily and without constraint in industrial environments. Evaporative cooling is a solution for improving your industrial production. Via the control panel, you can select power, activation of water flow over the filter media, orientation of the unit’s blast, and water treatment with an ionizer.

What is an industrial air cooler?

An air cooler is an evaporative air-conditioning unit. The high power of our products can lower the temperature of business premises that are considered impossible to air-condition. Each unit has a working radius of up to 400 m².

Our air coolers consist of a fan, a water supply and an adiabatic exchanger.

OberA air fresheners are the perfect match for industrial purifiers. Our fixed air coolers are installed on the roof, on an exhaust duct stub. Mobile devices can be easily integrated into production, storage or reception facilities. Easy to use, with remote control or management application, the OberA purifier offers free cooling (single fan) or cooling operation.

Industrial air cooler applications

An OberA air cooler is a device designed to cool professional premises. Our mobile models are solutions for extreme working conditions as well as large volumes. They lower the temperature of industrial production facilities. Our coolers are also suitable for car repair shops, agricultural premises or hangars in the aeronautical sector. Our small models can be found in hotels, restaurants and fitness studios.

Stationary air coolers are particularly suitable for large-scale business premises.

Their design allows installation in warehouses, shopping centers, the food industry, schools, greenhouses and data centers. They blow fresh air through the ceiling.

Air coolers maintain a temperature that promotes productivity. These devices guarantee product quality. For large companies, as well as for SMEs and VSEs, air fresheners are reliable tools for reducing heat stress, a source of accidents in the workplace.

Why should you use an adiabatic air cooler ?

There aremany advantages to using this device. Compared with conventional air conditioners, adiabatic air coolers consume up to 10 times less electrical energy. The air is cooled naturally by water evaporation and not by compressing a refrigerant. This allows the air coolers to blow air directly into a workspace without causing illness or a chill effect.

Our units have a filter media that not only cools the air, but also captures coarse particles to provide clean air. In addition, a UV lamp eliminates any viruses and bacteria present in the water as it flows through the filter.

How do I choose an adiabatic air cooler ?

The choice of an adiabatic air cooler depends not only on the size of the room to be cooled, but also on the cooling requirements. The larger the space and the higher the temperatures, the greater the airflow required.

The area’s ventilation is also an important factor. The room must be dry and well ventilated for our units to work properly. Indeed, OberA air coolers are designed to be used even outdoors. The area must be ventilated or aired continuously to remove damp air and bring in warm, dry air.

Our air coolers slightly increase the relative humidity (from 5 to 10%) of your space while lowering the temperature. This guarantees improved well-being and working conditions without any risk to the goods or equipment.

What are the differences between an air cooler and an air conditioner?

The air cooler doesn’t involve the use of harmful refrigerant gas like an air conditioner. A cooler consumes 10 times less electricity than an air conditioner. The maintenance of an air cooler differs from that of an air conditioner.

Unlike an air conditioner, you don’t have to close the room’s doors and windows to use a cooler. Our coolers are compatible with wide-open business premises, warehouses and logistics halls. An OberA adiabatic air cooler doesn’t dry out the air in the room and maintains a natural humidity level. An adiabatic cooler blows air into the room at a temperature 3 to 12°C below the outside air temperature.
